The other day there was a stink bug on the floor near her and I didn’t think she even noticed it, but Thyme just straight up ATE IT.  She was and is perfectly fine. But I was more just shocked by this. Has anyone else’s buns eaten bugs before!? Maybe Thyme is just a weirdo who will eat literally anything.

We had a member whose bun used to chase bugs, but I think he mostly stomped on them. From what I could find, stink bugs don’t seem to be toxic. They stink to deter predators. Didn’t work out so well for this poor stink bug though ?

Yes, I believe they are harmless. Their form of deterrence, as bam says, is smelling bad when they are smooshed, rather than being actually toxic upon consumption.

I think most bunnies can and will eat anything, so a bug doesn’t sound weird to me I’ve read about other bunnies eating some peculiar stuff as well.

Maybe she wanted a little protein? LOL

As far as I know, stink bugs are harmless. Just stinky.
