  Every afternoon when I went out I used to meet a lady who had a very big dog, his name was Rory, he had chocolate brown fur and big sad eyes, he had cancer in his tummy and used to come to my house with his owner once a week to get some pasta and pieces of chicken, today there was a knock at my door, it was the lady, its pasta day today, I said. “I’ve not made any pasta yet, where is Rory?” I reached down hoping to find him. (I’m visually impaired) She said he was taken to the emergency vets last night, he couldn’t control his tinkle or poop and was walking into things and walking like he was drunk, so he had to go to sleep at the vets.
  
  I’m going to miss that big dog with sad eyes and big feet.

  Aw so sad to hear about Rory the dog.
  
  Always sad when a loved pet whether it be your own or someone else’s that you are close to passes the rainbow bridge.

  Of course it’s ok to post about other beloved animals in the RB section. I hope Rory the dog is in dog Heaven now, where there’s lots of yummy pasta and no pain.

  I saw Rory’s owner today, she asked me if I would take his kennel apart and clean his bowls and toys and put them in the shed, its strange when you do things like that, you feel like the animal is still there and watching you, when I went in to tell her it was done I thought I saw Rory on the sofa looking at me, but no, he’s gone, he’s gone to get better with other very ill animals in the sky and to play nice with animals we have all lost.

  Very sad we feel same about all our animals, I was dismantleing my bunny jaspers cage seems they are still here somewhere watching, its very hard and very sad rip Rory dog

  Of course it’s ok to post here about it. I’m vey sorry about Rory’s passing, it’s wonderful that his owner had such a good friend in you to turn to.
