Hey guys! I have two bunnies at home, a bonded pair, Lady and Tramp and for the most part they are perfect. Lady is the dominant one in the pair for sure and a lot more social. She always comes running when she sees me and climbs up into my lap. However, for the past several days to a week, she has been running from her xpen, into her cage when me or my husband go to pet her and hasn’t really come out to play, expect to eat. She and Tramp are both about a year and a half old. The only things I could think that might have put her in a mood are..1. last Friday Tramp scratched his eye. It looked scary but after reading some forums I put some saline solution into his eye and it cleared up right away but I definitely spoiled him extra cuz my poor boy looked like he was hurting 2. On Sunday my husband and I deep cleaned their condo and kept them in their x pen while we did that. There was lots of vacuuming involved, which they both hate but we’ve vacuumed around them before so idk? And finally 3rd. On Tuesday I took a lint roller to Lady and Tramp. They’re both molting and act like I’m torturing them when I brush them or pull out their lose fur. So again I looked at some old forum posts, saw someone suggest a lint roller and tried it. Their skin didn’t look red or appear hurt and I haven’t done it since Tuesday (it is now Saturday) and Tramp has no issues with coming out and being social but Lady does. Lady and Tramp are also having no issues between them and are cuddling just as much as normal. She is definitely eating and drinking and it appears she is pooping and peeing just fine (her and Tramp share a litter box so it is hard to tell what belongs to who). I’m worried obviously for her health since she’s not playing as much and her relationship with me and my husband so I wanted to get your guys input! Do you think it’s something health related? I’m trying to avoid going to the vet if I can help it just for money reasons but if she needs it obviously I’ll take her. Or is it more likely that she’s throwing a tantrum cuz I spoiled her submissive boyfriend and not her last week? Or is she taking the cleaning and lint roller thing personally? I wish I could just freaking talk to animals and ask her lol! So yeah any input on whether I should bite the bullet and take her to the vet even though she appears to be doing okay albeit a little less active and social, or ways I can kiss her butt so she loves me again would be much appreciated!!!

I had an issue sort of similar to this… Except my bunny became moody even after being neutered. Is our bun spayed?

Hmmm it definitely could have been from all the “not so fun” changes all around the same time.
Sometimes changes in personality can be a sign of the rabbit feeling a bit off or in a bit of pain, but it’s good that she’s eating ok.
How has she been since you posted this the other day?
