        Hi all!

I have a male mini-rex rabbit, he will be a year old on the 16th of this month!

He is not neutered yet, but the plan is to go forward w/ that because of his territorial behavior. When we let him run around, he leaves little poops everywhere he goes and sprays. He also digs a LOT at the carpet in certain areas causing some destruction.

Aside from that, he is a perfect little angel and the sweetest. I was just wondering what your rabbit behaviors were like before and after neutering. Did certain behaviors stop? Did you notice any other changes in your rabbit that you had not seen before?

I know it is highly recommended to neuter your rabbit and again, we are planning on it. Thank you for the info!

No “positive” behaviors are wiped from a neuter. Generally only those destructive habits go away after a time. Litter habits and general owner-rabbit bond may reset a bit, but those can be picked back up in time, no worries!

The marking should subside a lot, especially the spraying. Neutering will also help with any aggression. Your bunnies personality will stay the same and hopefully litter training will be easier.
