It depends on the bunny. Some bunnies do but I’d be more worried about the potential dangers when the bunny is outdoors rather than their sense of direction.

My previous bunny (who has since passed) used to squeeze out of our house compound and run a few doors away. We kept her favourite pellets in a metal ice-cream box back then and would always shake it as we walked around searching for her. We would then see her dashing over from about five doors away because apparently she could hear the sound and recognised it. Not sure if there is something similar you can do.

So yes it is possible that he may come back. Hope he does soon :/

If your rabbit would be excited by the sound of a treat or pellet bag, walking around with it may help.

Oh no, so sorry to hear this I have no advice to offer as i’ve not experienced this but i’m crossing my fingers that she comes back unscathed.

Have you contacted your local SPCA? Also, your City may have a Facebook “Lost and Found Pets” group.

                  Some tips here:

You could try renting or buying a live trap. The trap can be set up with buns fave foods. But needs to be closely watched as a trapped bunny can panic.

Really hope you are able to find your bun!

Oh my gosh, well it’s great that he was found. Hopefully the puncture wounds are more superficial and fast healing.

Oh no! That’s every bunny owner’s worst nightmare! Not sure how to feel right now: on one hand I’m so happy that he’s back, on the other I’m hoping that he’ll be all right. Poor bun, glad to hear that someone took him to the vet. I hope he wasn’t attacked by another animal. Get well soon little one!
