  While I was in the pet shop yesterday I noticed some Grain free rabbit food, is that for rabbits with allergies?
  
  Is it like a special diet a bit like my diet, I can’t have wheat and gluten so I have replacement foods?
  
  Is it for sick rabbits?
  
  I didn’t buy any of course, I’m just wondering about this
  
  I wouldn’t buy it for Olly unless the vet told me to.
  
  I’ve seen people give grain free foods to dogs that have tummy problems and eczema, is it for problems like that?

  I suspect it’s just to make it seem healthier. I think most pellets have grains in them for fillers, maybe some nutrients but most grains are just pretty fatty. Buns don’t need grains in their diet so a grain free food is possibly healthier for them depending what else is in it.
  
  Some buns might have sensitivity to grains, but much less likely than with cats or dogs which aren’t designed to digest grain at all and can have quite bad allergies.
