so, my bunny has been eating a bit less lately, (not very much, just leaving a couple pellets behind.) and as you may have read in by other posts, some days she hasn’t been coming out of her cage. i just noted that when she was running around today, she dropped a poop that looked just like a cecotrope, but it was just two little poops together. they were small and shiny. should I be worried? i’m really starting to get nervous. i do have some critical care if things get really bad, but it did expire this month, would it be okay to use in a pinch? please help!!!

Sounds like a vet visit wouldn’t hurt. I just took my mini rex to the vet for intermittent soft cecotrope issue and the vet put him on a strict hay only diet but he seems to still be having the same issue so i am lost on what to do now.. im running out of ideas.

How much pellets do you normally give her? Does she eat a good amount of hay everyday?

Bob, I don’t want to be rude, but you’ve been told multiple times that it sounds like your rabbit needs to see a vet.

I told you it sounded like she had an ear infection last week, and you decided that she didn’t because you’d had a look at her ear.

You’ve been posting about her being lethargic and not coming out of her cage for weeks now.

              Take her to the vet.

Came to say the same as Sirius&Luna. Your rabbit needs to see a vet.

Agree with the others. I know how you feel. It’s hard to think that your precious friend may be ill, and sometimes I don’t want to accept it, but your bun’s life could be on the line. You must take her to a vet as soon as possible, or you might be too late. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Hi everybody. i did take her to the vet, and they said it was nothing major . they said to keep her off pellets for a couple of days, and her ears were just dry. i got some more supplements for that.
