So Nimbus has done two really long string of pearl poops today

But I’ve tried brushing him and no fur seems to be coming off! If I tug with my hands there doesn’t seem to be any coming off either, so I’m not really sure how to manage it. I have a wire toothed brush and a soft brush and neither has picked up any fur at all. I use lint rollers on my other two but that doesn’t work on his fur at all!

I’m at a bit of a loss. What other brushes do people use on lionheads? How can he be getting stringy poops when I can’t get any fur off him?!
Should I trim him a bit? Just give him some pineapple?

(And I’m pretty sure it’s his fur, not one of the other two. I inspected closely )

I have a zoom groom type brush for Bam now, one that has short spikes. It removes some hair but it loosens more. So I first zoom groom, then remove loosened hair with my hands and fingers. It’s the first brush Bam has enjoyed being brushed with. He just sinks and relaxes completely.

Oh I have a grooming mitt too… It’s more that he doesn’t seem to have any loose fur but is still somehow consuming it

Thanks Bam, I’ll look up a zoom groom. Nimbus will sit still if there’s a pile of food in front of him

Ah, that’s a pain. I tried so many brushes and nothing seemed to pick up any hair (plus the bunnies hated it) but the mitt works wonders on mine. Mine obviously don’t have the same fur type as the lovely Nimbo though (have u noticed that I rarely call him by his actual name? You know you’re bunny mad when you nickname other people’s rabbits )

Haha I like Nimbo. I’ve never called him that one before. Nimby is a favourite of mine

Nimbo bean ??? you’re too much

Anyway, I have ordered some Oxbow papaya supplements, I just want something that’s easy for my pet sitters.

I have to admit I give nicknames to all of them, Luni Atti Nimbi…
