        Hey everyone

Wondering what are some of the common greens/ salad mixes or anything that accounts for the veggie & fruit portion of bunny diets that I can give buns on a more regular basis. Bunz already gets s mixture- a little less diverse in the winter due to seasonal veggies at the market. But I’m wondering what are some items I can give her multiple timed a week that I can find at the grocery store- soon the farmers markets.

        Thanks

I give Ophelia spring mix veggies every day.

I have an herb garden and she gets random clippings from that throughout the week as well- I have basil, mint, lavender, sage, oregano, and rosemary.

I give fruits only 3 times a week. She really enjoys banana (obviously!), and dried cranberries.

I do spring mix, baby romaine, pasley, and sweet butter lettuce.

Here are 2 lists of veggies and fruits that are good for rabbits. They tell you which ones should be fed less often and which can be fed more often.

I don’t feed any lettuce as me and my vet have talked about how they are to watery and cause Benji to have some stomach issues. instead I feed spinach as a substitute. what Benji gets on the daily is usually (it changes sometimes) is 1-2 handfuls of spinach and about 4 or 5 smalls strips of ether carrots or red pepper. occasionally he gets some Swiss chard.

This is my go-to basic list I choose from. I often get more variety, but this the bread and butter.

I aim for 2 things from the 75% category and 1 from the 25% group.

~75% should come from this group:
                  Romaine or Red leaf lettuce
                  Dandelion
                  cilantro
                  fennel
                  mint
                  carrot tops

                  ~25%
                  Spinach
                  kale
                  chard
                  beet tops
                  parsley
