Everyone knows Wick is an Oxbow rabbit, and I often feel like I’m a spokesperson, BUT I do want to let everyone know about a very informational video on Oxbow’s YouTube channel that’s about hay. Oxbow’s VP of veterinary research breaks down the parts of hay, what to look for in buying hay, and the importance of variety in the hay components a rabbit consumes. I found it quite informative: http://youtu.be/3bvlPZ5LBmk

… If you only hear music and no voice, make sure your left speaker/headphone is plugged in. The voice audio only feeds through the left audio channel, while the music is through both!

I LOVE Oxbow hay…Thanks for the link! I give Benny timothy, orchard grass, organic meadow grass, oat, and (in a treat log since he’s under a year old) a small amount of alfalfa hay–though he doesn’t eat much of the alfalfa (doesn’t seem to like it).
