So hey, I have question about my bunny behavior.

She was recently sick. On Easter I rushed to the vet cuz she had temperature. My vet gave her some antibiotics and infusion and some pain killers because she had her left back leg sprained. we did xray and it is not broken. 4 weeks have passed and till yesterday she was acting fine. she was hopping and walking almost normally. but today she is again hopping on one leg and she is kepping her left leg raised. she was jumping around and fel. do you think it is something serious or? i checked her leg yesterday and her left knee is bit different from her right knee. left one is abit thicker. i can feel tibia and humers head.

usually when she wants atention (since she was at vet) she is hoping on one leg. and after when she gets her back massage and when i pet her she is hoping again on both legs.

and one more thing, when she is around me she is producing some strange noise. like hmmmhmmmm. deep hmmm.

and she cry when i try to pet her, but when i pet her she is relaxed and enjoy it.

        help please.

I would take her back to the vet.

I too would take her back to the vet if she has stopped using one of her legs and she doesn’t start using it again after a massage. Not long ago we had a bunny here that had a dislocated patella and needed surgery to fix it. Something could perhaps have happened to her knee when she sprained her left leg, a sprain is in the ligaments that stabilize the joints, and the patella is attached with a ligament to the thigh muscle and the tibia (as you probably know, you seem familiar with anatomy).

The humming sound doesn’t really indicate that something is wrong. If she isn’t spayed, she could be courting you. Rabbit courtship consists of circling, humming or grunting, sometimes nipping and peeing on the desired object (in your case, you).

            How is her appetite?
