Hi, im lookong for reassurance/advice. I got my one yr old lion head neutered 4 days ago. Since coming home he is so angry. His body language is aggressive, he is growling, he’s not very active/mobile but makes a point of turning from me everytime i come in the room. He’s eating the minimum and drinking bar minimum and pooping the minimum….but it is his personality. He is so flat, he is groggy, he lost his blanace yesterdat and fell over. He is really angry with me, is this typical of your experience. And when will i have my rabbit back!?! It’s lonely without him

He shouldn’t be falling over and he should be eating more by now, so I’d definitely contact the vet that did the neuter. Something is not right.

Buns often get mood swings after a spay/neuter, but the falling over and the poor appetite is really concerning.

I agree that the mood swings can be normal after a neuter however the grogginess and loss of balance is especially concerning. If be heading back to the vet to get things checked out.

None of my boys went through this (maybe the first few hours, but definitely not four days later). You need to contact your vet and/or take him to an emergency vet that specializes in bunnies.

I agree, it sounds like he’s in pain rather than angry. These are not normal symptoms.

He is eating a bit better today. I had to move the food and water to him. He is still barely moving, even for food. Maybe two steps in the last 2hours? I will contact the vet

Did the vet give you pain meds to take home? It sounds like he’s in pain.
