Every time I check on Toby and let him out, I usually sit on the floor and let him come up and sniff me so that we can bond better. I don’t know how long this has been going on, but he always just runs up to me and starts licking me like if I was a popsicle I tried moving my leg and he just moved along with it and kept licking. I then got up and started walking and he followed me and started licking again.

At first I thought this was a sign of love and affection, but he just sits there and licks non stop. I feel like he’s maybe trying to tell me something through his licking but idk what.

Have any of your guys’ rabbits done this before? I just don’t know what it could be.

And I am going to schedule a vet visit pretty soon but in the mean time, this website has just been very helpful.

Some rabbits lick. It is grooming = affection. My Bam is the same. Lick-lick-lick. It’s not a sign of something being wrong.

Unsure if other rabbits do it, but Wick licks to beg for food as well.
