something was found on  his liver during an ultrasound i thought for sure he had an adrenal tumor that was fine but they found something on his liver, everything else looks great though kidneys, heart, lungs so we are going to do a needle biopsy and bloodwork. the surgeon told my vet she has seen them cancer and not cancer. so hopefully its not cancer but it is very large. midnite is acting fine eating drinking hoping around but he was biting me and he is in heat although he is fixed. he is 12 yrs old but you would never know it.

last wk the vet filling in for my regular vet who has treated him for 11 yrs said its not good its cloudy so its  50 50 its cancer we don’t know if its spread i give him 6 months.  i wanted my normal vet to review the results she called and said the other organs are fine we don’t know if its cancer its very large whatever it is. today she said if you do nothing they can get a twisted liver and they die from that that must be horrible i cannot imagine my baby having that pain. i will go as far as i can with this.

I can’t imagine the stress you both must be going through with this tough situation! Do they think there is a way to drain it or something to make it smaller, without surgery? Sending some head pets his way .

Thanks! I always thought Luna was a mini lop, but she weighs 4 lbs 8 oz. So she’s too small for a mini lop but too big for a holland lop. Another BB member did mention that she could be what’s called a false holland lop.

they are going to get some cells to see what it is exactly.i actually feel much more optomistic after talking with my normal vet the other vet did not give me any hope at all i do feel better now. but yes its SO stressful they cannot tell you how they feel. other than the lump everything else looks fine i said so that is good she said its GREAT news. maybe its just a big cyst but of course you want to know for sure. all i know is if i don’t do anything you regret not doing something.
She probably is a mix but she is adorable. Well all bunnies are. Dumped at a restaurant?! He’s so lucky you and your parents gave him a loving home . That’s so true what you say about bunny love.
