Definitely cover all wires! My bunny would hunt them out and try her hardest to chew every single one. I would watch him around soft furnishings as I’ve had a few problems in the past with cushions and throws. I spread toys around the room so it distracts them from nubbling at things they shouldnt. With the potty training it’s good you started it straight away. Mine took a while to get it but even when they did there was a few accidents on carpets and even laps. Every now and then there are a few accidents especially on my rug. But that’s the only place now and normally happens when there is change. I did find that changing the material in their litter tray helped to begin with. They liked going in the cats litter tray so I started putting cat litter in theirs. This definitely reduced the accident around the house as the feel of the litter was completely different to the soft furnishings. This might help with the confusion about where to pee when he’s roaming free.
