So my two bunnies live outside and please no comments about that. One bunny is in a dog crate, I’m working on a new housing set up. Until then, I need a way to protect her from the sprinklers. At the moment, her cage is under the stairs that go from the porch into the grass. I need some cheap, safe ways to cover her cage. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried a tarp? You can get one from Walmart for $5.

On the not-water-exposed side of the tarp, attach a cloth or something to mute sound because a sprinkler hitting tarp will cause some noise.

Okay thanks. I will put a box in the cage and stuff it with hay so they can hide in there as well.

Can you adjust the sprinkler head so that it is pointed away from the direction of the bunny? Or turn off the sprinkler head that is causing the wetness until you have the new housing setup. Sprinklers usually give you
Those options of turning on/off just one or adjusting the directional settings.

We are not able to do that because then all the grass would die over there. They do have a separate room in their cage where they don’t get wet
