I know that during general maintenance of bunny’s nails, trimming monthly is fine. But when you’re in the process of trimming more often to get the quick to withdraw, how often do you trim? Trimming my bunnies’ nails is not fun for them or me, so I want to be restrained in not trimming all the time. But I do need to get their nails to be shorter. They’re indoors on carpet and don’t do much digging, so the trimmer is the way to go for us. What’s your nail shortening schedule?

I typically trim every two to three weeks. I’m worried about cutting too close so I do it more frequent and cut off less at a time. I also only do one Paw a day to minimize stress
