I have had my bunny for 3.5 weeks now and he loves to lick humans almost all humans but especially me and his human dad. I’m worried as I’m scared he is unhappy or sad because he is by himself. I will eventually get him a sibling just not right now. Any advice?

Is he a baby? Babies just looove to lick It means he likes you and is happy, so no need to worry about it.

Hi! Receiving bun kisses is a great honor that many of us don’t get to experience . Buns are social creatures, so it is good that you are addressing the possibility of him being lonely. But if he were lonely/sad, he would most likely show a decrease in appetite or energy, or signs of boredom such as extra destructive behavior or even self-mutilation.

How much time does someone spend with him on average every day? Does he get a lot of cage-free time and mental stimulation? Buns thrive in pairs, but they can also do just as well as a single so long as they get plenty of social interaction (with humans or other animals) and aren’t left alone all the time.
