So Cookie was out for playtime today and she hopped on my lap looking for food. We were in a TV room so I was sitting on the floor right next to the couch. She has never been able to jump onto the couch before but I guess she smelled or saw something today (the couch is safe for her). Anyway, she put her two front paws on the couch and tried to jump on. I stayed still but as she tried to get her two hind legs up into the air, I felt something vibrating. It felt kinda like a drill or a massage. Cookie is perfectly healthy, in fact she saw the vet yesterday. And now that I think about it, she kinda makes a little vibration (hardly noticeable) when she jumps on my lap. Is this normal or should I be worried. She’s acting very normal now and nothing looks wrong from the outside.

Leopold’s legs will vibrate when he’s struggling to keep his balance. Like when he’s standing on his hind legs, for example. So if I’m understanding what you’re describing, I think what you experienced was something similar.

That sounds like Cookie. It happens when she is trying to jump on to something so I think what you’re describing seems right. Thank you because I was worried
