Hello! My husband and I are new parents to two flemish giants! We are wanting to use a natural cleaner when we wipe out their litterbox, etc. I don’t particularly want to use a chemical cleaner–I can’t imagine those are healthy for them. I am reading mixed reviews on essential oil cleaners–some reviews are saying that some oils like citrus and lavender are safe, other reviews are saying best to not use any EOs. I also know some natural cleaners can be simply water, lemon juice, and white vinegar. Thoughts? What’s definitely safe, and what’s definitely not?

I use vinegar, it works like magic! Takes the urine stains off of her litter box in a second!

Vinegar and baking soda are the only 2 things I use in my house. Except the bathroom, that needs a bit more cleaning power but I always use cruelty-free.

Vinegar here as well . Essential oils are unsafe for buns.

I use vinegar and water for my litter boxes too. I do use other cleaning products around the house but nothing harsh, all the ones I use are natural based some do have oils in them (eucalyptus) but it’s not really used in direct proximity to them.
