  Hi everyone, Petunia got spayed yesterday and it went really well. She has been eating a little but I haven’t seen any poop yet and of course me being the paranoid bun mom that I am- i am nervous and freaking out. She gave me such a hard time taking her antibiotics this morning, which showed me she was at least feeling well enough to put up a fight as opposed to last night where she just took it no issue. I had given her veggies soaked in water so she has peed. She has spent the morning in her clean fresh litter box after her tantrum this morning- I’m sure she is sore. Is there anything else I can do for her to help her along this process. Incision site looks great and she hasn’t bothered with it, she’s just uncomfortable. My poor baby

  Did she get pain killers as well as antibiotics? How long has it been since poop?

  She will be uncomfortable for a while but as Sirius asks did she have painkillers?
  Eating is a GREAT first step. Now she needs to poop…

  Yes she has pain killers- I just ran home and she had her face in her bowl of pellets AND there was poop in the litter box- I can see she hasnt been eating very much because they were small but she is starting to eat more and more and her poos are getting bigger Thank goodness! I put down a blanket for her and she started to dig at it. She thankfully did not give me a hard time with the pain meds as she did with the antibiotics

  Sounds like everything is going well! I know she has a lot of energy, so tell her she still has to take it easy until she’s healed .
