My rabbit has chewed holes in the fabric of two chairs.  I want to use some iron-on patch type things to try to fix them for now.  Is this rabbit-safe?  Ideally, she wouldn’t eat them, but of course if she weren’t chewing at the chairs this wouldn’t be a problem.  I’m also trying to get creative with ways to keep her from contacting the surface of them.

They aren’t very nice chairs but it’s nice to have somewhere to sit where the bun hasn’t pulled out all the stuffing… I don’t want to replace them until at least after she has been spayed and is calming down with the chewing a little.

Correct me if I’m wrong – but are those “iron-on patch type things” also fabric? The first impression that came to mind is those fabric “badges” people iron on clothes.

Yep, they are mostly fabric, but there must be some sort of heat-activated adhesive, or all clothes would stick to the board when ironed I guess it could just be a really heat-sensitive fabric on the back that you just melt with the iron?

I know I’m going to have to put something on top to stop my bunny from worrying at the edges, but was hoping this could buy my furniture more time for me to stop her.
