I am trying to bond my two rabbits. One is a male and the other is female. I adopted the male recently and the person who I adopted him from said he neutered but he is displaying pretty dominant and aggressive behavior. I have done 2 sessions so far and started with a stress bonding session each time. She seems to take a big interest in him but he seems to take no interest in her and is pretty rammy with her. There has been no mounting during the sessions and he flops or lays down almost every session and seems very calm but, when she finally decides to hop around or go up to him he gunts at her and nips at her. When he nips he does take hair and he continually nips at her back end as well. Is this normal behaviour, I know rabbits do not get along right away during bonding but I found this behaviour strange.

How much prebonding did you do? Nipping doesnt pull fur, but biting can (unless she is shedding). Its fairly normal but usually happens less with prebonding
