Okay so I don’t have a bun yet but once I do it’s going into one of my new rooms, a big one where I can have a cage and all that stuff. But in the winter I am moving into my parents house where my room is really really really tiny. I have a loft bed which helps with he space but I’m afraid that the bunny won’t have enough space to exercise as much as I would like them to. I am obviously gonna try and have the bun free roam in that room due to the lack of space and have its own little area under my loft bed(not enclosed with cage), and remove unnecessary furniture and such, but if it turns out to not be enough space for my bun to run and such what would be some possibilities for my bun to do so? My parents would definitely not allow me to have my bun in the living room or kitchen or anywhere else in the house except my room, and they treat their grass with chemicals so I cant do that. My bigger room is right next door, so I could take my bun over there but its gonna be winter, so too much climate change and stuff. Idk what to do! Thanks for any replies

If your room is larger than 50 sq. ft. you should be fine. Just make sure that everything is bunny proof. When you say your bigger room is next door do you mean it is in a different house? Brief changes in temperature as you walk across the street are fine.

Yea it’s in a different house and takes like 45 seconds to get to the other house by walking. It does get really cold in winter here and I’m gonna have to put my bun in a carrier everyday and such so yea. I’ll have to see how big my room is, thanks!

If you are worried about your bun getting cold while walking to the other house you can fill a water bottle with warm water and wrap it in a fleece blanket. You can put that in the carrier with the bun to help keep them warm.
