Initially it looked very large, but I realize it just seemed that way because the walls are very high. I don’t think that’s adequate space for three rabbits, especially if you add a hutch inside to take up more space. Your post also made me think of a few other things:
1) Garages are not the best environment. They usually get very cold and hot during the seasons, and generally this isolates your pet from the rest of your home, naturally leading to a less bonded relationship with them at times.
2) If you’re getting three, you need them to be all fixed (spayed/neutered) and bonded. Unless you’ve found three that are advertised as such (not they’re all siblings or have been together since birth; this is not being bonded.), then you will need to have them all separated until they’re fixed and you will need to go through the bonding process with them, which can take months while they’re housed separately.
3) It’s much more safe and preferred for them to be free roam indoors, rather than a garden where they are open to predators, parasites, and bugs. Whole outdoors, they would need constant supervision, and I don’t think any owner has time to do that every day. Three rabbits need to be free roam for several hours a day, so the best way to accommodate that is rabbit proof indoors and let them free roam, or use a very large x pen indoors.
