A lot of people use the furbuster/hair buster to great success. I’ve never used it personally.
Can you do daily hand grooming? That’s what I do with Wick. Once to twice a day I check his molt lines and high shed areas like his cheeks and butt for releasing fur tuffs. This has been working well for us since no brush has been as good. I just use my hand to brush the fur in an opposite direction and two fingers on my other hand to loosely grab the base of fur and help it come out. For Wick, it’s usually a big patch that I pull for a while and it can follow a line across his body.
It’s helpful if your rabbit is black because if you part the fur and see black instead of skin, there’s a good chance that you can pull off some fur that’s been pushed out by the new black fur that’s growing in.
