We are having snow today and i thought it would be fun to open my porch door and have my 2 yr old flemish mix,
Luna, experience it for the first time. She was out hopping around for a few minutes (literally 2/3 min) then hopped back into the house. That was about an hour ago but after reading old posts; it seems that rabbits shouldn’t go from indoors to outdoors that quickly due to the huge temperature difference. Now i am worried that she may get ill and i don’t know what to look for. She has been eating, drinking water and acting like herself but is this something that can occur hours from now if she does have a negative reaction to going outside?

You don’t have to worry. The rule about temperature differences is about much longer out-inside time than a few minutes. She should be just fine. She wasn’t out long enough to start to adjust to the cold, so she didn’t have to readjust when she came back in.

Bam is right. That was too short a time to make a difference.
