Hi everyone! I have my buns sharing a room (pre-bonding) and we are waiting for the big spay date April 4th. Petunia’s hormones have kicked in so they are separated by double fencing. Every morning I walk into their “bunny kingdom” and a major battle of poop wars has ensued. Mr Buns(neutered) had perfect litter habits before and this only seems to happen overnight because during the day after I have cleaned it all up his side is clean. Ms Petunia on the other hand grasped the concept of pooing in the potty for about 5 minutes (understandably so) and then “forgot”. Thankfully she still pees religiously in the litter box. They are only making a perfect line against the lining of the fencing. Is there a reason why they seem to do this overnight? Does anyone else’s buns do this? I mean it’s great to be able to easily monitor their poop but will this stop once she is spayed and they are bonded?

Totally normal, and should stop once they are bonded. It will probably lessen once she is spayed, but it will prob still happen a bit. She is marking against that entruder Mr. Buns!

My buns just tend to poop more at night, as they are just more active then, so that’s prob why!
