Troublemaker is a wonderful cuddly bun, but I cannot tell if he likes being picked up or if he just tolerates it. He will often try to readjust when I am holding him so he is either standing on my chest or tucked under my ear, but I can hear him breathe seemingly loudly out of his nose whenever I hold him. Are there any signs to tell me if he is happy or not being picked up?

Generally no rabbits like it. They tolerate it. So I’d default to tolerate. I think they can enjoy being close to you, but the realization that they’re above ground will keep coming, making them somewhat antsy.

Wick has been in my arms for 30min straight once and while he stayed there and was content, he was just tolerating it.

It’s unusual, I know, but Clover literally DEMANDS to be picked up every morning, but only in the morning.

Our usual morning routine is; I stagger down the hall into the living room (because my brain doesn’t function without coffee, I know it’s decaf and sugar free, so it’s technically hot brown water, not coffee, shuddup.), Clover jumps out of my recliner, binkies around my feet, grunting and honking, then hops back up in the recliner and stands as high as she can u til i pick her up. If i dont, she will literally launch herself into my chest.
So I hold her and pet her and whisper to her her good morning, and she licks up and down my arms. When shes ready to get down, she gives me a big grunt then nudges me with her nose.
            She’s not a normal raddit.
