I have had Dusty since February 1st. He was estimated to be 10-12 weeks old at the time and he weighed 1.1 pounds. So, I picked his birthday to be November 15th. All I can say for sure is that he is definitely a lop. But what KIND of lop?? His muzzle is very smushed in like a Holland but his ears seem longer like a Mini. He is very tiny still. A regular rabbit harness at it’s smallest size is still too big for him. I have read plenty of how big each breed can grow to be and that they are fully grown around 6 months of age. Unfortunately, I struggle to find information on how much they weigh at 3 months of age. My photos seem to be too large to upload and I do not know how to make them smaller. Thank you in advance for any help!

He’s definitely a Holland. Hollands take a bit of time to grow into their ears. My boys had very long ears until they were about 7 months old. My boys are false dwarf Hollands and weighed almost 2.5 pounds at 3 months, but it’s normal for a true dwarf to be weighing in around 1-2 pounds by 3 months. At full grown a true dwarf will weigh between 2-4 pounds, so 1.1 pounds is spot on for a projected weight of around 2-3 pounds.

I found an app to reduce photo size. Here are a few pictures I took of him yesterday. Approximately 15 weeks old.

Excellent! Thank you! This is what I was hoping to hear but of course I love him no matter what breed he is.  I was able to resize photos and posted them in a comment reply. Thank you so much for your input!

              EDIT – 16 weeks old

Thank you! He is so sweet! Always licking me. It amazes me how tiny he is.

Does he have a bell on his harness? The red looks good on him.

Yes. It came attached on it. Should I remove it? It is made for rabbits so I never gave it a thought. I only put it on him with supervision and about 20 minutes at a time to get him use to it. I hope to do agility training for fun. It is as small as it will go and still a bit big. Always twisting on him.

I think the bell is fine. My parents would kill me if my bunnies wore harnesses with bells on them. They get annoyed with all the noise the bunnies make. I was also planning to do agility with my two. It’s really fun being able to walk them.

He is sooo gorgeous! I would definitely say he’s a Holland!
