So I’m putting my dogs and cat on flaxseed for coat/skin/digestive heath, and I’m wondering if I could give it to or if there’s any benefits of flax for bunnies? My apartment is super dry as it is, so something to help his skin would be nice, but he doesn’t have dry skin. Yet. Just a preventative and something that would help his tummy overall. Do you think it’s worth it to give it to my guys? Can I even give them flax?
        Thank you all in advance!

In general, buns and seeds don’t match. I know there are flax oils on sale, but I don’t know their effects on rabbits, so I’ll leave it up to more experienced members

This is sort of a debated topic. I’ve read articles of bunny owners and vets both for and against flax seeds. Just google “Flaxseeds Bunnies” and you’ll pull up some forum threads from BB and other sites if you want to read them. I’ve never used them, however, as like Muchelle says, I’ve always heard Bunnies = No seeds.
