I have noticed that since Myrtles spay she has become more destructive. I know her hormones must be all over the place which is what i can only assume it it. She has been trying to pull up her play mats that are in her pen — which is ok as I can eventually replace them. However she did try to pull at the carpet when she did a bit of an escape act. I caught her before she did any damage, but felt a little disheartened as I was hoping to have both Finn and her free range once bonded.

Finn is perfectly fine free range (although due to his mites his isolated away), but Id have to separate them when Finn is out if she is to destructive as Finn dose like his out time. My whole flat is carpet and as its rented so can’t be changed. Is this something she will settle from?

Don’t lose hope on her yet. She was spayed so recently, so her hormones, like you said, are definitely adjusting. Asriel was extremely destructive the first 2 weeks after his neuter, then he mellowed out. He still digs a lot, but its usually the blankets I leave on the floor or the hay mat in his cage. Give her a month or two and see if she has leveled out.

Wick was an A+ jerk for a month after his neuter. Took a while, but it will mellow out.
