We have two buns who are now BBFs.  They are free roaming and also have a condo and room that is basically their “place”.  We will be doing a major renovation on our house and need to relocate for about 6 months during construction.  I am currently looking for some place we can stay for the duration, but it looks like we may need to be in multiple locations during the 6 months.  We don’t have any local family or friends who can take them in temporarily.  I have about 4 weeks to come up with a plan and living arrangements.  I want to hope, that as long as they are with us, our buns will be okay moving to different places if necessary.  Any advice or experience with this sort of situation?

We had to evacuate with our bunnies for a few weeks due to a wildfire, and they did OK. We brought along a big x-pen, their litter boxes, toys and blankets. They weren’t super excited about it, but adapted pretty quickly. They might take a day or two to adjust, just be sure to have their bunny first aid kit, and a good stash of supplies. It also might be good to look up vet options in the area you will be if it’s far from home.
