› FORUM › HOUSE RABBIT Q & A › Where do you guys buy toys for your rabbits?
Hello![]()
Lately, Toby has been in a very hyper/playful type mood and it seems like he just wants to destroy everything. I have bought him some pet store toys and he showed no interest in them. I’ve also made him toys out of paper towel rolls with twine and he didn’t touch them either.
I just want to know where you guys have bought toys for your bunnies because I cannot seem to find natural toys anywhere around me that rabbits love such as willow balls, seagrass mats, timothy twists, etc. I checked the BB store and the shipping is pretty expensive since I live very far from California.
My boys love some of the stuff from Petco. There’s a bundle of sticks tied up with rope, that tends to keep them busy for a half hour. Oxbow also has some hay mats available too that they love and constantly dig/bite throughout the day. One of their favorite toys came from Bunnies that Lunch, but I have no idea who sells it outside of the subscription box. It was a loofa type thing with corn husk like material coming out of the ends. They destroyed that thing in a few months.
Have you checked out the Binky Bunny store? Lots of great selection. Mine love the unpeeled willow toys and baskets.
Pet stores sell toys, but gardening centres etc. may also have an animal section. You may also find the grass mats there. Thus far there’s only 1 store-bought toy which Breintje still uses: the Teach ‘n Treat 3-in-1 toy. He ignores the rest and continues to play with tp rolls, cardboard boxes and any personal documents I leave on the couch after I’ve made a phonecall. Hey! No! Heeeey!
Asriel loves the Teach ‘n Treat! Bombur’s not the brightest, so he’s not that good at it, and looses interest within a few seconds xD
Wick is pretty stupid when it comes to thinking critically while also thinking about food, but the Living World Teach N Treat toy still keeps him occupied. I just need to sit by him during it to help him.

Thanks for the replies! Toby loves food so I may look into the teach n treat. I saw it on chewy.com. Is that where you guys bought it?
I found this amazing pack of glue free balls made for rabbits at Walmart. The pack had a seagrass ball, a willow ball, and an untreated wood ball. Great pack! it was only only $3.89 for a pack of 3 balls! On chewy.com I also saw this seagrass mat for $7.99. Toby loves seagrass so I think I’ll get it for him along with the teach n treat.

yikes I clicked submit too many times lol.
speaking of the teach n treat, what kind of treats do you put in there? maybe like the little treats oxbow sells?
Haha, oopsie!
We put in sunflower seeds, an occasional raisin and sometimes some pellets. We bought it at the pet shop in our local mall. It seems to be a popular item, it’s even for sale in shops which aren’t from a big chain.
I posted about it on this forum before, with pics:

All 3 regular options are too easy for him now, so we use the blue sliding disk in combination with the cups. We put the treats in a corner and put the circle over it. Then we block the free holes with the cups so the disk can’t slide freely. That kept him busy for quite a while ^_^ He’s slowly getting the hang of it now and learning that he has to remove all the cups before the disc can be moved.
Thanks for the replies!
The treat n trick toy sounds like a lot of fun! I’ve checked different places that sell it and they all seem to be the same price. I just want something that’ll keep him occupied![]()
