  he ate perfectly fine last night and the last hours, today, he’s a little less piqued by it. I handed him some cilantro, one of his favorite herbs last night as well, he ate those, gave him some this morning, not sure if he ate them, for he’s sitting in the corner I placed them, hence can only assume he’s sitting on them. He normally goes bonkers for carrots but the second I gave it to him, he was a little muddled on how to take it, he wasn’t as ecstatic and can’t tell by my current angle whether he ate it. The same goes with his pellets, normally he’s hyped to get them ever since I’ve changed his feeding schedule and mainly gave him them in the morning so he wouldn’t be deterred away from his hay. I checked his mouth and he’s not drooling nor again any lumps to indicate any dental issues nor has he shown me any hints of discomfort while touching said area, he’s always had hay and chewing toys to help wear down his teeth, he’s still warranting me to pet him, purring in content. Is he just not hungry? This isn’t the first time he’s acted like this, normally at night he does eat while being this way formerly and was fine for the remainder of the week.

  Generally, if a bun refuses treats (even a bun that has a belly full of hay would still gobble up a treat) then I would be very worried. Does he look uncomfortable at all? Do you know if he has pooped recently? My Buttercup has had stasis 3 times so I’m always on edge to hear something like this. I don’t want to scare you of course, but knowing how poorly Buttercup was, I’d rather risk being a little dramatic than downplay it.

  He has, all the while he likes to mix up his bathroom corner with the rest of the clean, undisturbed bedding, it does get a tad tricky to tell what is the most recent droppings. Above all, none appear abnormal from what I’m used to seeing. Shortly after I gave him another helping of hay ( since his current pile was lacking from prior night eating ), he did move interest to his carrot. And he did eat some of his pellets prior to this update, I also incited him his activity space, to where he eagerly accepted and ran around for awhile — zoomed and binked, actually. I really can’t say he’s unconformable. He’s just sitting amid where his hay is and where he normally uses the bathroom.

  Ah, well that’s a positive sign as an uncomfortable bun or a bun in pain wouldn’t run around and binky Perhaps he had a bit of gas but it’s since passed?
