I noticed shortly after bringing home my rabbit that his eyes arent the same … on one side his eye is normal , it makes him look kind of tripped out if anything , but the other eye seems to have a darker shade of blue ( almost black looking ) covering half of his eye , is this something i ahould be concerned about ?

Your bunny might be heterochromatic! One of ours is – he’s got one blue eye one brown eye – and as far as we know, there’s nothing to worry about health-wise. It’s just aesthetic.

If you’re concerned about it, though, you can ask your vet about it to be sure.

I agree. You might be seeing his iris change to fully brown or just a section of it.

            It can look like this.

Is he a dutch bunny or another breed with dutch-like markings?

Marbled eyes are relatively common, particularly in Dutch and Vienna marked bunnies.
