It doesn’t sound very alarming. At 7 months, he’s a teenager, even if is he is neutered. It’s also technically early spring now, not that you’d perhaps notice it temperature-wise, but the days are getting longer and rabbits respond to changes in amount of daylight. early spring as a rule means the start of the dreaded spring molt, with accompanying grumpiness, but there’s also often (temporary) behavioral changes, because it’s not only sex hormones that are affected by daylight. And even neutered buns still have some testosterone production in their adrenal glands.
I’d not worry too much, if he is eating, drinking, pooping, peeing, normally active (you might see an increase in activity due to more light. More light means less sleep-hormones released). Just be patient, he isn’t becoming un-bonded to you. Pet him when he wants you to. Keep a close eye, of course, on the above mentioned things, esp appetite. And if he starts to molt, brush him often so he doesn’t ingest too much of his own fur.
