Bun Minty is 3 months old.

Is it ok for me to put a harness on her and take her for a walk / run inside the house? Whole house is not bunny proofed (in process) and she is sectioned off in an x pen for now. It’s my parents house so I can’t bunny proof it.

The harness I am thinking is for a guinea pig not adult bunny as she is small but I can see which one works better.

I personally wouldn’t. Harness aren’t particularly safe for a bun that isn’t completely used to wearing them anyway.

The problem is bunnies can bolt on harnesses/get tangled up in them, and break their backs or legs. We had a user on here who’s rabbit got a broken leg from a harness. I used to use a harness on my most calm bunny, and he was always fine with it, but after reading these stories I wouldn’t anymore.

Could you not temporarily bunny proof a room with bits or card or sides of the XPen? Or if you’re in the room with her, you should be able to stop her chewing things she shouldn’t anyway.

In addition to risking injuries to a back or legs, I also read a story not too long ago about a harness getting jammed up into a rabbit’s throat/neck. Since you have already started the bunny proofing process, hopefully there is at least one room that she can play and exercise in.

Most of us here on BB recommend avoiding harnesses. As a prey animal, buns are prone to panic and flee. Trying to run with a harness is dangerous and can cause serious injury.
