Olly never sleeps next to his litter tray and he’s there now in his cage, usually he sleeps in this pen attached to his cage, I’ve checked him over, he seems fine, think I woke him from a deep sleep, he’s doing his pooping and as I say seem fine, could it be just a change of scenery?

        His tummy is not bloated.

His teeth seem OK, I said. “Open.” And he opened his mouth, (He does that with the vet too.) and I used my Otoscope I have because I used to be a nurse, everything seems OK, no swelling, no soreness.

Checked his bottom, its clean, very clean.

Poop checked, looks normal, he’s been eating hay, I did put gloves on.

Could it just be a change of scenery?

I want the best for my boy, he’s my assistant pet, if anything is wrong and I don’t realise I’d never forgive myself.

I think Olly rabbit will be ok, sometimes Ophelia will pick a new spot to sleep and I might think that it’s strange behavior, but she just found a comfy new spot is all! As long as he is eating and doing his poops I think he will be ok

Wick’s sleeping spot rotates between 3 places, depending on the noise and activity level. It’s natural to shift, and it’s great that you reviewed those health behaviors. With all that in mind, I think he’s doing fine. Your attention to detail is really good.

As long as he is eating and pooping normally, I would say he is ok. But I would keep an eye out for any more changes as this could be an early signal of him about to not feel well later on. Is there anything new in his pen, like something that could be putting him off from wanting to go in there?

Nothing new in there, he’s in one of his usual spots today.
