I recently adopted a two-month old Dwarf rabbit who has wee’d on me numerous times. He has wee’d on my side of the bed, wee’d on my foot and while I was watching TV climbed on my chest and wee’d on me. He is pretty good about peeing in his litterbox and only had one accident outside the litterbox, I leave the door open to his area and when other people hold him or are around him he  is the perfect angel and has gone wee in his litterbox. I can’t seem to understand why he has a problem weeing in his litterbox with me around, please help.

You can consider it flattering be he’s peeing on you to claim you, haha. When it happens, or right before it happens, you should get the rabbit to the litter box and discourage it by making a hiss noise immediately.

The need to mark will lessen through a neuter.

It could be 2 things – he either loves you, or hates you and uses this to insult you. Just before my bun was desexed she would “mark” me with love… especially when I was on the loo. She would dig at the door until it opened and then come and binky-pee (spray maybe?) on my feet. This stopped after desexing, I sorta miss her possession of me, but not the pee haha.

If he is doing it as an insult – what have you done before he has peed on you? Did you move his hay or not feed him on time? Sounds like he is a bit young for desexing yet, maybe he just gets excited with love when you are around and cannot contain himself

I’ll try the hissing because I’m getting tired of all the laundry due to all the bunny weeing(and so is my husband). How old is old enough for neutering?

With a male bunny it’s when their testicles have dropped. Most male bunnies are ready for neutering by around 4-5 months. With dwarves, you sometimes need to wait a bit longer, as it’s safer to anesthetize a larger bunny, so the closer to his adult size the better. I would probably take him to the vet around 4 months if you can see bunny balls, and see when they’ll feel comfortable neutering.

Testicle descending time varies, but S&L hit the average. Wick was at 8mo, so quite later.

Bombur had already dropped at 7.5 weeks and Asriel dropped around just before 10 weeks. Both were neutered at 3.5 months.
