We’re working on expanding our bunny family and we just got a new 3-month-old boy or girl – we’re not sure which yet. He/She is living in the same house as a 10-month-old female who was spayed 4 months ago. We have them separated by an x pen, but the issue we’re having is with the older one peeing and pooping all around the little one’s area. Does anyone have any tips to stop this? We’re hoping to bond the two once the little one is old enough to get fixed.

Nope. While you have a hormonal bun around, fixed buns will act out hormonally. Plus, this new hormonal bun is also a stranger. Your first bun is likely going to make until your new bun’s hormones drain within the few months after shes fixed.

Ah, too bad. For now, we’ll keep them as far apart as possible. Thanks for your help!
