Hmm, this is tricky. There are a few things to consider:

-First, customs regulations for transporting live animals between countries. Many countries have a very long quarantine period when you bring a pet in from another country. Check to see if England has this for travel from Latvia. This might make your decision for you… as I’m sure you would not want your bun to be stuck in quarantine for several months.

          – Housing in London/ at your college. Sometimes it can be hard to find housing that allows bunnies. In the US, most universities do not allow them in campus housing, so check to see if this will be the case where you are going.

          – Air travel. I know some members have flown with their bunnies (and other pets), so I would guess you would just need to find a company that allows it.

Depending on the answers to the first two issues I brought up, the kindest option for your bunny might be to re-home her. But, if it turns out it’s easy to bring live animals into England, and housing won’t be a problem, then I would guess you could find another airline that you could bring her on?

A friend recently went through this with her cats, as she moved to France, but only for a year or 2. The cats would need to be in quarantine for I believe 6 months, so she decided it wasn’t worth it (or humane to the cats) to subject them to this. Her parents are going to take care of them for the next year or two, until she comes back.

But if i were to find an airline that alllows rabbits wont i need a passport for the rabbit? I asked my sister and she says it’s extreme…. If theres no way i can bring her with me then i’ll just stay here… i cant let her be alone with my parents. They’ll most likely never have time to give her love or let her out .. I’m still thinking if theres any other way i can take her to london with me so if anyone has any ideas please leave them here

I don’t know if you need a passport exactly, but I just found this information that might be helpful to you:

              https://www.gov.uk/bringing-food-animals-plants-into-uk

It says rabbits must be in quarantine for 4 months if from outside the EU, but since Latvia is inside the EU you should be in luck I think!
