Toffee is 13 weeks old. I gave her a small amount of brocoli leaf today. When we got her from the breeder she gave us a muesli based handover food. Toffee seems to love it but I have read online it can be bad for them? I give her a small amount (less than a handful) for over night and around a handful during the day when I’m out at work. She eats lots and lots of hay and drinks plenty of water. Stools are normal. She’s always eating her poo! She’s very active and very cuddly. Just a bit of reassurance I’m doing it right. She doesn’t play with toys yet but she doesn’t have any at the moment as it’s only a few days since her friend passed away Fudge. Thank you guys

Since she’s so young, although she enjoys it, I suggest not giving any vegetables. Rabbits need to develop proper gut bacteria to digest vegetables without them having stomach discomfort. For now, her diet is best as pellets and hay.

Muesli rabbit rabbit food encourages selective eating. Rabbits will go for what tastes best, rather than what’s best for them! Are you able to purchase a small bag of alfalfa based rabbit pellets?

This website has a bunny info section which includes a path to information on young rabbit diets.
