Last month, I managed to clip Toby’s front nails, but couldn’t get her back ones. The reason for this is that the only way I was able to pick her up, keep her calm and keep her from jumping off the counter was to put a blanket over her and scoop her up. Due to my method, I was only able to get her front nails. Any tips on to how I can clip her other 8?

Back feet and bum area are a big no no for my bun, so it’s difficult to clip her.

I brought her to the little pet hospital attached to my petsmart because they said they do rabbit grooming. But she is SUCH a stressball and she ran around, jumped on the counters, thumped at the techs, etc… it’s a horribly stressful event for her.

So what I have been doing is scooping her up in a towel and turning her on her back in a “trace position”. It is not recommended to trance your rabbits, but obviously with her reaction at the pet hospital, I have to find a way to get this done at home. And she doesnt seem to mind it too much. I have my husband hold her so that I can get to all four paws, so you probably need a helper. She used to just let me clip them while she was eating, but I cut the quick once and now she’s a huge drama queen about nail clipping
