Hey everyone,
After my Nibbles had her spay surgery, we decided to move her inside permanently (before she was living both outside and inside). She now lives in a large pen in our living room, and her litter box habits have improved a lot (she still pees in one corner outside the box, though).
Since being moved into our living room, she’s been sneezing. Sometimes it’ll be one sneeze, and sometimes she’ll have a little sneezing fit with several sneezes in succession. This doesn’t happen every day, and she sometimes goes days without sneezing at all.
I know that sneezing can be a sign of a respiratory infection, but it isn’t accompanied by any discharge around her eyes or nose and there are no other symptoms at all. I mentioned it to my vet when she went in a few weeks ago, and I suspect that it’s the air in the house. We have carpet, and now she’s in a less ventilated area than before (we open the sliding door and windows but it’s of course much fresher outside).
Do any of your buns sneeze inside? Or have any of your buns had a respiratory infection without discharge?
Thanks,
Laura
