Hi , so Im leaving tomorrow , I know it’s last minute, for a 3 and 1/2 day weekend trip. I don’t know what to do with my bunny Quinn. I have a house sitter for her to come 2 times a day, but I’m nervous. Quinn is my little baby. Then I was thinking I could bring her with me. It’s a 2 and half hour trip. She’s good in the car, but never has been in the car that long. I would make her a pen , and bring her blankets and carpet with. However, would this cause more stress for my bun? I’m scared leaving her, the sitter isn’t rabbit savy. But I’m a phone call away if something happens. I know my bun, and if she got sick or anything, I would be miserable for the whole trip.
        What should I do ?

It rather depends on what type of trip it is imo. Will there be lots of people, loud noises, partying all night long etc? Can she have a pen in a (reasonably) quiet room? Are there small children or dogs?

I once brought my Bam with me to a New Years Eve party with a sleepover. But he got a quiet room for himself and it wasn’t a party-party. There’s of course always fireworks on New Year’s wherever you spend it, but Bam seems indifferent to them. If your bun is scared of fireworks it might not be a good idea to leave her home alone.

Just make sure bunsitter is VERY aware that if Quinn refuses a high value treat when he/she offers it EACH time he/she visits, then you should be called !!!!

It will be my family. I have my own room and the dogs will be there but she knows them. We are quiet , and we will be out and about tryinf new restaurant and what not. Not alot of noise. Wow I didn’t think of fireworks. This will be her first new years , (first time with fire works) also that concerns me leaving her at home with fireworks by herself….
The room in the house, I get the basement .
I was going to bring a pen , and a tarp to put on the ground and bring her blankets and carpet and bed.
