So, the search part of the forum is down, so I’m not sure if there is a thread here already or not. However, here is my problem.
My little bunny Alfonso is about 9 months old (he was a rescue so we’re not really sure) and I’ve had him for about 6 months now. Basically he eats everything. He doesn’t just chew things, he eats it! I’ve given him plenty of toys in different varieties but they don’t last long because he chews and injests them. The hay toys are great, except they’re just uso expensive ($15-20/a small toy) it’s hard to buy him multiple toys multiple times a month. And even when he has these toys he still eats the woodwork, the top of his litter box (plastic), etc.
Does the bitter spray work for woodwork or plastic? If he eats through the spray will it still harm him? Personally it’s not a big deal he chews those things but when he’s ingesting it that is what worries me. If anyone has a chew happy bunny and has suggestions it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Caroline & Alfie
