So… My rabbit seems to be avoiding the litter box? If I put it in the corner he poops in, he’ll throw poop bombs at the corner it used to be in. This goes back and forth, and only a few little poops make it into the litter box.
The litter box I use has a type of wiring(?) Over it so he doesn’t walk in the stuff he puts out. I’ve tried taking that off , but he’d rather sleep in the litter box than use it. I’ve wasted lots of good bedding because of his habits, and I just want to know if I’m doing something wrong or if there’s something I could do to stop this behavior? I can’t put in another litter box at the moment, as he would barely have space left. (We’re working on getting a two story cage, the one we have now is a step up from the small cage we got him in)

A long cage is much better than a story/level cage. I suggest an exercise pen (or two) instead if at all possible.

Put it in the corner that he poops in the most and deep clean the corner you dont want him pooping in any more.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll tell you how it goes.
