I reckon this counts as a care part.
I noticed a bald spot on my black rabbits back. Its not exactly a bald spot, i can still see fur, however its much shorter than the rest. The reason i know its there is because my rabbits undercoat is white, not black, and this spot was black. There seems to be a lot of dandruff there too, which im not too sure if its actually dandruff or mites, it doesn’t seem to be mites though because when i take a closer look, the dandruff doesn’t move.
The area is about eleven centimeters wide and eight centimeters long. It’s probably fifteen centimeters from her tail.
From the fake bald spot, i can pull fur from there quite easily and she isn’t fazed by it, not even a little. I can just pull chunks of fur from the bald spot and she just countinues to groom herself like I’ve done nothing (i only did this twice to check, i will refrain from pulling out chunks of fur because that seems unhealthy).
I dont know how long she’s had this bald spot, I’ve had her for about two years now, i suspect she is about four or five years old. She is a Rex, I’ve not changed her diet and she’s been consuming food at the same rate as she always has and drinking water the same.
Does anyone have any idea of what this spot is? Should I be worried at all? Anything at all would be helpful!
