I brought in a huge plate of snow for the buns to play in and they sure loved it. The pics are so large it will only let me do one at a time. Here’s Winnie!

SO adorable! That’s such a great idea! My husband and I were thinking our boys would love snow too, but bringing them outside would be a pain. I’ll have to try this with my boys when it snows again!

Aw, how sweet! I was tempted to bring some snow in but neither of mine can stand being just a teensy bit damp, I don’t think they’d appreciate it!

They loved it, Pepito especially loved digging in it. Sarahthegemini, they did get wet or damp, their fur is so thick that it kind of resisted the snow. It didnt melt on them either. Kind of like duck feathers with water. I thought they would get wet, but they didnt at all! Yeah, I didnt want them outside because of the temperature difference in the house compared to outside.

My rabbits can’t bear it if I try the wet hand grooming trick yet they’ll happily submerge their floppy ears in their water bowl. I don’t know what their game is. Maybe I’ll bite the bullet next time there’s snow!

When my buns use their water bowl, they have a saucy habit of shaking the excess off on me. I missed bringing them some snow to play with last weekend, but next time I’ll try to remember.

Well, they are clearly concerned that you are not hydrated enough

Awe! Too cute! I love how they both dove right in, paws-first. You can tell by their faces it’s magical.

I tried this with Olaf last year. He seemed to enjoy eating the snow more than anything else. He wasn’t brave enough to actually climb on it. I piled it in a cardboard box with a towel underneath (and a flat plastic bag underneath that, for leak-proofing).

Here’s the video, if you’re interested.
